Goddard Riverside’s Youth Program emphasizes leadership, community service, academic excellence, physical fitness and cultural diversity.

The Youth Program annually serves nearly 2,000 children and youth, from first-graders to high school seniors, through the following program components:

  • Children’s After School Program for elementary school age youth;
  • Beacon Program for middle and high school youth and adults with after-school, evening and weekend programming;
  • Summer Day Camp for youth ages 6-13 years;
  • Spring Softball League for boys and girls ages 8-13 years;
  • ArtWorks!, free Saturday classes on painting, sculpture, and photography for middle and high school youth sponsored by the Joan Mitchell Foundation;
  • Parent and Family Meetings and workshops; and
  • Community Swimming Program on Friday evenings.
