The Book Bash is the opening
night celebration of the New York Book Fair, an annual
fundraiser to benefit Goddard Riverside Community Center.
The proceeds – more than 85 cents of every dollar
– support Goddard Riverside’s programs throughout
the Upper West Side and Harlem which assist 16,500 people
each year. Goddard Riverside builds community and changes
lives through services such as youth programs, college
counseling, supportive housing and assistance to homeless
people and older adults.
