New York Book Fair is our
major fundraiser and a much-anticipated community
event held every year the weekend before Thanksgiving.
At its heart is a weekend sale featuring discounts
of 50% or more on thousands of brand-new books. The
Book Bash, with its raffle, and restaurant
tasting, and the Meet-the-Author
Dinners are truly festive and memorable evenings.
Business leaders from publishing and other industries
make it all happen through their work on the Book
Fair Committee. Since 1986, the New York Book
Fair has raised more than $7 million, and 85 cents
of every dollar raised goes directly into Goddard
Riverside programs. Here’s how you can support
the Book Fair:
