Star Learning Center

Goddard Riverside's Star Learning Center provides one-to-one academic tutoring for low-income students in grades 2-12. With an extensive resource center, a well-stocked library, computers and dedicated volunteer tutors, the Star Learning Center helps more than 300 students find critical support every year.

The center's goal is to help each child improve academically and foster a positive attitude toward school and learning.

You can play an important role in improving a child's life as an academic tutor at the Star Learning Center. Volunteers should be able to commit up to two hours a week and be at least 15 years old.
