If you are confused about the new Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit plan, call one of our Senior Center social workers at 212-873-6600.

If you have drug coverage through EPIC (Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage), Medicaid, a retirement or employer benefit, or a supplementary Medigap (policy (H, I or J), be sure to check with your current program about what to do. Read and keep all communications from them.

Find out if you are eligible for help with your Medicare drug costs through “extra help” or the Medicare Savings Program (MSP) for lower income beneficiaries.
